Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and business-oriented Product Manager to lead the development and roadmap of our products, starting with dataTrack. This role will bridge the gap between our sales and tech teams, focusing on understanding market needs, analyzing product performance, and improving product-market fit (PMF). The ideal candidate will be 60% business-focused and 40% tech-focused, with a strong ability to understand technical details without necessarily managing software sprints or development work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy and Roadmap:
  • Develop and maintain a product roadmap that aligns with company goals and market demands.
  • Identify market opportunities and define product vision, strategy, and positioning.
  • Collaborate with senior management to ensure the product strategy supports overall business objectives.
  • Market Analysis and PMF:
  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Analyze product performance and customer feedback to improve PMF.
  • Develop and maintain detailed buyer personas and use cases.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership:
  • Act as a liaison between sales, marketing, and tech teams to ensure cohesive product development and go-to-market strategies.
  • Work closely with project managers to align product development with market requirements.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration across departments.
  • Customer Engagement:
  • Engage with customers to gather insights, validate product concepts, and understand pain point s.
  • Develop strong relationships with key customers to facilitate product adoption and gather feedback.
  • Product Launch and Go-to-Market:
  • Plan and execute product launches, including go-to-market strategies, marketing materials, and sales training.
  • Monitor product performance post-launch and iterate based on market feedback.
  • Performance Metrics and Reporting:
  • Define and track key product metrics to measure success and drive continuous improvement.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on product performance, market trends, and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in the energy management, industrial software or industrial technology sectors.
  • Strong understanding of energy management systems, IoT, and AI technologies.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute product strategies that drive growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and with senior management.
  • Experience with market research, data analysis, and customer engagement.
  • Ability to balance technical knowledge with business acumen, focusing on market needs and product usability.
